Rotary piston gas meters are manufactured for pressure stages pmax 10 bar, 16 bar. The pressurized parts within the gas meter are made of nodular cast iron. Up to size G 1000 the rotors are made of anodized light alloy, above G 1000 they are made of grey cast iron. The anodizing layer achieves a considerably higher resistance to wear of the piston surface.

Since 1990 Aerzener Maschinenfabrik's quality assurance has been certified worldwide to ISO 9001.
